Publication Model and Frequency
_
- Social Science Chronicle (SSC) publishes manuscripts in one annual issue spanning across January to December, every year. It is filled, as and when articles get ready for publication, following the continuous article publication (CAP) mode of publishing rather than conventionally waiting for other articles (intended for that issue) to be ready. By this, the peer reviewed version of article becomes immediately available for downloading, reading and citing, thereby ensuring faster dissemination of research.
- In this mode of publication, mainly the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) is used to cite the manuscript.
- Each article is page numbered internally (starting from page-1), bearing no linkage with other articles. Correction or update, if any, can be readily checked by CrossMark link provided on the web page and first page of every manuscript.
- Furthermore, once a paper is published, it is immediately processed for indexing. Also, promotion of research through social media handles is effectively carried out by the journal.
